Dr. Alannah Brett is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, who investigates multi scale fluid flow in the crust and the impacts between geology, environmental and social landscape to understand geo-resources. Alannah works on projects spanning geothermal, CO2sequestration, lithium deposits and volcanic massive sulfide deposits. Alannah recently published an interdisciplinary review with collaborators at Colorado School of Mines on Lithium production in the United States: Socio-technical review of sites, environmental impacts, and social acceptance. As well as the last year she has been investigating developments in the lithium brine space in Arkansas. Alannah also led the Ore Deposits Hub platform during the pandemic.
