Pam brings nearly 15 years of experience in the mining industry to her current role as Chief Geophysicist at Abitibi Geophysics. She played a key role in establishing Abitibi Geophysics' Thunder Bay office and has been based there since 2013. In her capacity as Chief Geophysicist, Pam oversees a dedicated team of junior to senior geophysicists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality geophysical solutions. Pam is an alumna of Memorial University, Canada, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics in 2011.
Beyond her professional commitments, Pam is a contract lecturer at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, where she shares her expertise with aspiring geophysicists. Over the last decade, Pam has been actively involved in the local mining community. She has served on the boards of the Ontario Prospectors Association (OPA) and the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association (NWOPA). She also played a significant role as the chair of Women in Mining Northwestern Ontario (WIM-NWO), helping to establish their inaugural scholarship program. Pam also serves as the chair of Mining Day, a local event in Thunder Bay. In 2024, her efforts in community engagement and education led her to become a recipient of the “Dan Calvert” Distinguished Service Award. Pam is based in Thunder Bay, Canada.
