Dr. Andy Wurst is currently a consultant in the mining industry. He joined
Barrick Gold in 2014 as Global Chief Geoscientist Project Generation, based in Montreal, Canada, prior to this he held positions at Gold Fields and Ivanhoe Mines as Chief Geologist in project generation roles. He gained his PhD in economic geology from CODES at the University of Tasmania and completed an undergraduate degree in geology and marine biology at the University of Adelaide.

Andy has 30 years of worldwide experience in the mineral industry searching for a range of metal types in over 40 countries on 5 continents and has been associated with several internationally significant mineral deposit discoveries and developments.
