Ross Taylor graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2010 with a BSc in geology, and in 2016 with a PhD focusing on the influence of large igneous provinces on sedimentary systems in the Pacific NW, USA and in Skye, NW Scotland.
Ross joined CGG (now Viridien) in 2015 and has worked on a range of oil & gas exploration and production projects, spanning a number of key basins around the world. For Viridien’s mining team he has conducted regional exploration work in the Guiana Shield and most recently in Arizona.
He now works on developing mineral exploration projects and products in the Americas out of Houston.
